Wow: Facebook 'Reactions' Adds 5 New Emoticons

Facebook 5 emoticons

TECHNOLOGY | The social networking site Facebook rolled out "Reactions" - an extension of the "Like" button - worldwide on Wednesday, allowing people to display quick reactions such as sadness, anger and love.

How To Get The New Reactions

Desktop: Simply drift over the Like button, and the new reactions will appear in a bar above. Every post will demonstrate the main three reactions it has received. Tapping on those will show how many people have used each reaction.

Mobile: In the Facebook application, close down the application and revive it. When you hit the Like button, a message will appear that instructs you to hold down on that button to bring up the other reactions. The responses are just accessible to use on posts, pictures and videos.
